WALL IN THE WELL

My collages went up successfully this afternoon in the well gallery at LCC today. below text to go with this post, just thought i would split my work from the rest.

WELL GALLERY

Well we have done it our collages went up today in the well gallery at LCC for the day. It looked really good once we all had put up our collages on the walls, it was a celebration of collage. There were so many different approaches on assembling collages shown today, which gave the whole thing a nice touch when looking at them all. I enjoyed how we transformed a white empty space into this energy filled, intoxicating vibrant gallery space in under two hours with so much to look at. There was also a nice idea of hanging the collages from underneath the bridge and across each side of the gallery above the floor, which looked pretty exciting and gave it a celebration/festival/village fair feel about the exhibition. I also liked the way they were displayed in a quick and easy way to show a collection of images in a trashy way it added to the excitement of the gallery space.

THIS IS A POSTER FOR MY BECOME GREENER PROJECT. WHEN I WAS WATCHING HOW TO REDUCE THE CHANCES OF BEING A TERROR VICTIM BY XX TEENS I TOOK NOTICE OF THE LIST OF INSTRUCTIONS THAT THEY DELIEVER THROUGHOUT THE SONG AND HOW STRAIGHT FORWARD THEY ARE WHEN DOING THIS. SO I HAVE TAKEN THIS IDEA OF MAKING A BOLD CLEAR MESSAGE AND CAME UP WITH SOME TYPED MESSAGES ON AN IMAGE THAT RELATES TO THE TEXT. IT'S AN EASY CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO AND WILL HOPEFULLY GET THE MESSAGE ACROSS QUICKLY AND SIMPLEY. THIS WILL BE ABLE TO PRINTED AT ANY SIZE AND BE ABLE TO CREATE POSTCARDS BAG PRINTS ETC...I WILL PRODUCE A SERIES OF THESE MESSAGES AND CREATE SIX POSTERS, HOLDING SIX DIFFERENT MESSAGES ON THEM !
